In the beginning there was darkness…

Really starting at the beginning so this becomes a useful resource seems to me to be a good place to be.

Actually starting at the beginning means that you probably have debts rather than savings and possibly are having trouble with your finances. Guess what? You are not alone. Most wealthy people started at the same position.

In fact, an extremely wealthy individual I once knew told me “get out and have a go, son, if you are going to learn how to be wealthy you have to learn the lessons early. Take chances, go broke while you still have time to recover.”

No, he wasn’t my father but it was good advice, just a bit late. I was already married with a child and couldn’t afford to take the big risks that he was suggesting. Never the less, the other lessons I learned by watching him have made a significant difference.

That is what I will talk about in this blog, find my other site at kentberry.com.au where the lessons are already in place. I plan to expand on those pages here and there so hang in.

Lesson one is get your finances under control. Clear the credit card debt(s), begin a consistent savings plan. You must do this to really grow your asset base before you can begin creating wealth. Boring I know, but totally essential.

Don’t believe me? Have a look at the people around you, not just the cover but the actual book, what you’ll find is that 90% do not do this and they are not wealthy. So if you want to stay where you are or be just like them just keep on doing what they do.

Want to change? You’ll have to change what you do with your money or you cannot change the results.

Think about it.
